I am overjoyed to be joining the team at missjeanswimming this season! My name is Izzy and I am from New York and recently moved to the Bay Area! I am fifth grade teacher and am passionate about helping students find their voice and pursue their passions. I am a lover of all things water and teaching. I knew from age 4 that I wanted to become an educator. I soon realized that I would go on to educate in many capacities- in nature, in the classroom, and in the water! I was a competitive swimmer in high school and recruited to swim at the college level. I have taught swim lessons for over 10 years at town pools and privately. It is my greatest joy to share my love of swimming with everyone. In my free time I enjoy training in the pool and the bay for triathlons! I look forward to learning from and with my students to help them navigate their swimming journey! —
