Every bottle of doTERRA®’s Wintergreen comes from our doTERRA’s Co-Impact Sourcing® initiative. Our new source of Wintergreen comes from Nepal where it is wild harvested by rural villagers then distilled by community-owned distillation facilities.
I have included the last three video’s about doterras, healing hands as well as co-impact sourcing. Enjoy the stories and when your done wiping away the tears of joy, call me, text, email me or sign up your self online. I have loved partnering with doterra for over a year now. It’s the perfect fit for givers like myself, not only are the oils the high quality, but the founder’s hearts are in making the world a better place instead of making billions for themselves. If you think it’s too good to be true I invite you to watch the videos.
We’re excited to share this new Wintergreen video with you. Wintergreen essential oil is about empowerment, sustainability, and love!
doTERRA® is committed to providing you with high-quality Wintergreen essential oil. We’ve searched the globe for the perfect place to grow and harvest it—finally landing in Nepal. Through the Co-Impact Sourcing® initiative, doTERRA has been able to create more jobs for Wintergreen growers and harvesters in Nepal.
When doTERRA looks for sourcing partnerships, we deliberately choose locations where we can improve individual, social, economic, and environmental well-being, while still producing the highest quality essential oils. Often times, experienced essential oil farmers, harvesters, growers, and distillers in underdeveloped areas are paid unfairly or taken advantage of. Co-Impact Sourcing provides the tools needed to help lift these families and communities out of poverty and promote economic development. Through the harvesting of Wintergreen essential oil, doTERRA has provided the Nepalese people with job opportunities and hope after suffering a massive earthquake. Since partnering with doTERRA, many of our growers have been able to rebuild their homes, better provide for their families, and send their children back to school. That’s why we’re so passionate about Nepal Wintergreen, and we’re sure you will be too.
The main chemical component of Wintergreen essential oil is methyl salicylate. Methyl salicylate is a rare organic chemical that is naturally found in only two plants across the world—birch and wintergreen. This chemical contains both soothing and renewing properties. This makes Wintergreen a great product to use after a long day to soothe your muscles. We recommend adding one to two drops to warm bath water to enjoy the soothing benefits. Wintergreen is also a great product to use for massage and can be used after a workout to aid in renewing the body and mind.
