Life Story
When Lodaska Ann Lynn was born on November 15, 1866, in Cairo, Illinois, her father, James, was 21, and her mother, Wilmoth, was 17. She married John Albert Bates and they had 15 children together. She also had one son from another relationship. She died on February 27, 1962, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 95, and was buried in Sawyer, Oklahoma.
